Car-park scuffs and key-line scratches do not always need a full panel respray. We repair locally and blend into the surrounding paint so the mark disappears.
The work
A scuff on a bumper or a scratch along a door is often shallow enough for a local repair. The skill is knowing when to polish, when to spot-repair and when the damage has gone through to primer or plastic and needs more.
We repair the damaged area, match the colour and blend into the existing finish. Done well, you should not be able to point to where the work starts and the original paint continues.
Bring the car in if you are unsure of the depth. A five-minute look is better than guessing from a phone photo.

Judge the depth
We check whether the mark is in clear coat, colour or through to primer so the repair is not oversized.

Repair the area
The scuff or scratch is prepared and filled or reduced as needed, keeping the job as local as the damage allows.

Match and blend
Colour is matched and blended into the surrounding paint so there is no patch or hard edge.

Finish the surface
The area is cleared, flatted and finished until it sits with the rest of the panel.
Remove the scuff without respraying the whole panel.
